Two millenniums ago there was a war between the human world and the other, the underworld, but someone from the underworld woke up to justice and stood up against this legion, alone.
His name was Sparda later he quietly reigned over the human world and continued to preserve harmony until his death.
He became a legend.
The Legendary Dark Knight, Sparda

Someone once said that history has a tendency to repeat itself. If only that wasn't the truth, unfortunately though, it is. And worse yet just so happens to be the piece of history that has decided to repeat itself, there have been no other points in history that have darkened the world so badly that they have become the stuff of myth and legends.

Lucifer, Morning Star, Satan. The emperor of the underworld goes by many names, but no matter what name you put to him he is still the ultimate evil, and what he has planned for the human race you can be sure isn't anything good. He has awakened from the long slumber that had been placed on him by the Dark Knight Sparda, and not only is the demon out to finish what he had started those two millenniums ago, he's also out for revenge.

Dante is the best demon hunter around, and the last bearing Sparda's blood, the fate of the world now rests on this half breeds shoulders but that doesn't mean he has to do it alone, especially when the Devi himself is out for his head, the man might just need some help, even if he refuses to admit it.

It's time to pick a side, will you help save the world or destroy it? Either way know that this is the most important battle you'll ever fight and that Devils Never Cry

Dante's little Devil Hunting Agency plus living area. Demon heads held in place by daggers adorn the walls, a juke box that never works properly resides in the corner along with a pool table, drum kit, guitar, amps, a pair of couches and TV on the far side, and his messy desk in the back.

[ ]Fallen Grace Cathedral;; (1 sub-board)
Shahal's place of residence. An old gothic style cathedral on the outskirts of town, it looms over a dark worn down cemetery. Gargoyle statues guard the place thats complete with stain glass windows and high archways. The inside has been transformed in to a house and the alter room is an office.
00
[ ]Spider Gates Cemetery;;
It gets it's name from the spider-like design on the gates. A very, very old cemetery (older then the cathedral it sits behind) the place is know for being unbelievably creepy, even during the day. Also said to be haunted, reports of strange orbs, cold spots, strange noises, and just uneasiness

A large room filled with seats. In front of those seats is a stage, as well as a stand where the priest preaches of religion. Those who worship Sparda as a God come here to hold ceremonies and pray.
